Alejandro has extensive experience in consulting for trademark registration, trade names, patents and in general distinctive signs consisting of industrial and intellectual property.

For these topics, he constantly reviews rulings concerning companies’ intellectual property, as well as advises on matters relating to copyright authorship and related rights. He has also experience in advising the clients with administrative and judicial proceedings related to regulatory frameworks in environmental, municipal and health matters.

Finally, within his practice he has advised corporations in commercial and civil matters, as well as matters relating to franchise and distribution contracts.

Alejandro actively participates in the Committee of Intellectual Property of the Guatemalan American Chamber of Commerce (AmCHAM) and is a member of the Events Committee of the new Guatemalan Chamber of Intellectual Property.
