Andres has extensive experience advising foreign and local clients in mergers and acquisition, cross boarder transaction, international transactions, agency, distribution and corporate and business law.

He has advised financial institutions in complex finance deals, including financing of several hydroelectric and mining projects and has participated as local counsel in bond offerings in the international capital market.

Some of his biggest clients are companies and investment funds in the US and Latin America.

Andres has actively participated and led the firms involvement in legal due diligence process, drafted and negotiated assets and stock purchase agreements.

• Syndicated loan structures, bond issuances, guarantee structures and other types of financing structures and mechanisms

• Bond emissions, including sovereign bonds, having acted as counsel to the intermediary/underwriter bank as well as the Republic of Guatemala

• Mergers and Acquisitions, including joint venture agreements, shareholder agreements, strategic alliances, due diligence processes, acting for either seller or purchaser and other commercial agreements

• Negotiations of engineering and procurement agreements
