The Holocaust Museum Guatemala – founded by Yahad-in Unum opens its first exhibition in the country.

ASSOCIATION INTERNATIONALE YAHAD-IN UNUM headquartered in Paris, France, through its local branch duly authorized in Guatemala, opened on January 21, 2016 the first temporary exhibition in the new Holocaust Museum Guatemala.

Such exhibition, named Holocaust by Bullets, has been presented in different places across the world, including Paris, New York, Madrid, Los Angeles, Canada, Lithuania, among others, and now in Guatemala.

The Holocaust Museum Guatemala will add a new option to the national cultural agenda, contributing to the education of students and visitors, offering a new tourist attraction in the Centro Histórico of Guatemala City, and will dignify and distinguish Guatemala for hosting a museum with this topic as in other major cities in the world.

The house were the museum is located was almost completely renovated by renown Guatemalan architect Alejandro Paz Navas.

Yahad-in Unum is an international organization dedicated to the research of historic atrocities against humanity, the education of students and general public through its exhibitions and research work, and involvement of the community to learn from these facts.
