Water Legislation Bill in Guatemala
Lawyer Gabriela Roca, head of the Energy and Infrastructure practice area of QIL+4 Abogados is actively participating in the discussion about the possibility to implement water legislation in Guatemala.
This open discussion is considering the convenience and needs to approve a law regarding the country´s hydric resources. Gabriela Roca participates on these discussions representing theRenewable Energy Generators Association (AGER) to emphasize the importance and relevance this legislation has to the hydroelectric sector in Guatemala. The Guatemalan National Congress published an invitation to present comments, proposals, and observations about this regulation. Gabriela Roca´s experience on the local and regional normatives related to the electric energy sector, and infrastructure projects, allows for QIL + 4 Abogados to be a part of this important milestone in Guatemala's development.
